The red CV-Curriculum Vitae is born from a unique vineyard, located in the heart of the Douro, in the Rio Torto Valley. A single vineyard over 100 years old is planted with around 25 different varieties on 3.3 hectares. Cristiano van Zeller found it in 2003. From here, one could only create a wine that would stand out in Cristiano van Zeller's production of great wines, and that deserves a prominent place in his Curriculum Vitae. A wine of unparalleled complexity, with notes of wild berries and a long finish.

| Vinification | Vinification and aging at the Quinta Vale D. Maria vinification centre. The grapes are destemmed and trodden in lagares for 2 days, at a temperature between 16° and 18°C before the start of fermentation, and then fermented in the same lagares (50% of the total) and in stainless steel vats (50% of the total). ) with a capacity of 5,000 kg, for about 8 days, at temperatures maintained between 20 ° and 26 ° Celsius. Aging in new French oak (75%) and one year (25%) barrels for about 21 months. |
| Test Results | This red is incredibly deep, violet, dark red and purple, with a very high concentration of ripe aromas of dark red fruits, black cherries and plums. Aging in new oak barrels concentrates the original ripe tannins of the wine and helps to soften its power, creating a very elegant wine, with great balance and refinement and a very long and fruity finish. |
