| Test Results | Blue-black color, impenetrable, with a fine purple rim. Intricate and finely built, the nose has the elegance and balance of a classic Taylor’s. A dense core of pure and complex fruit, with an intense aroma of blackberry and cassis, in a perfumed scented aura of violets. Resinous scents of garrigue and subtle notes of licorice and black coffee emerge as the nose is formed. On the palate, tense and linear tannins provide a solid structure. Different berry flavors remain until the end where the tannins re-emerge, giving an attractive touch of austerity. This is a paradigmatic Taylor, the distinctive aromas and the unique floral character of Vargellas are mixed with a dense black fruit and the scents of aromatic herbs from Terra Feita to produce an elegant wine with an unmistakable Taylor's characteristic combination of vigor and refinement. |
