Vinification At Quinta da Boavista, to guarantee the preservation of the characteristics of the variety and total control of the production process, we use manual harvesting and the manual selection of bunches, followed by destemming and gentle crushing of the berries. The grapes are fermented in new 500 liter French wooden barrels. After a period of maceration, the resulting wine continues to age for 16 months in 225 liter French oak barrels. All wines are sealed with natural cork. Not being filtered or stabilized by the cold, they can give rise to a precipitate with age.
Test Results Forest notes well intertwined with fine spices, enchant us with the airy aromas of cranberry and wild fruits. Delightful to enter, it takes control of the mouth and reveals its multiple facets in a subtle and intoxicating way. A wine that leaves us suspended in an incessant sensation of infinity.
Gastronomy Ideal to accompany red meat, game or cheese dishes.
Awards Robert Parker 95/100 Pts
