Located near Pinhão, on the right bank of the Douro, Quinta da Boavista has a spectacular view over the river. It is one of the most iconic properties in the demarcated region, known not only for its historical connection to the Baron of Forrester, but also for its 36 hectares of high quality vineyards.
Quinta da Boavista Vinha do Oratório is a wine whose grapes come from a single plot, which received the name of Oratório due to its impressive undulating terraces with almost 8 meters in height.

| Vinification | At Quinta da Boavista, to guarantee the preservation of the characteristics of the variety and total control of the production process, we use manual picking and manual selection of bunches, followed by destemming and gentle crushing of the berries. The traditional granite presses with foot treading served as fermentation reservoirs, later the wine aged in French oak barrels for at least 18 months. All wines are sealed with natural cork. Not being filtered or stabilized by the cold, they can give rise to a precipitate with ageing. |
| Test Results | With a full aroma, in which we lose ourselves in copious red fruit notes, subtly enveloped in floral hints, edged with a fine touch of spice, this wine will capture all the senses, conquering them with its creamy, generous texture and freshness Final. A timeless wine. |
| Gastronomy | Ideal to accompany red meat, game or cheese dishes. |
