For more than two centuries, the name Dow’s has been referred to as one of the best Port wines. Throughout the 20th and 21st centuries, the Symington generations have worked at Quinta do Bomfim and Quinta da Senhora da Ribeira creating, from these vineyards, superbly concentrated, intense and tannic wines when young, with aging, elegance and perfume appear with aromas of violet and mint. The drier finish constitutes the distinctive brand image of the wines of this great Port Wine company.

Vinification	Dow Fine Tawny is a three-year blend aged in small oak barrels in our inns in Vila Nova de Gaia. Cask aging produces a smoother, lighter style of wine than Dow's Ruby, which is mostly aged in large casks and oak casks.
Test Results	Dow Tawny combines subtle fruit with delicious velvety nutty flavors derived from barrel aging. It is ready to drink and enjoy when bottled and does not require further aging.
Gastronomy	It can be enjoyed as an aperitif or on any other occasion. Ideal accompaniment for nuts, cheeses or desserts.
