Located on the right bank of the Douro River, between Régua and Pinhão, Quinta do Crasto is a property with around 130 hectares, 70 of which are occupied by vineyards. Also part of the company's assets are Quinta do Querindelo, with 10 hectares of Vinha Velha, and Quinta da Cabreira, in the Douro Superior, with 114 hectares of vineyards.

With a privileged location in the Douro Demarcated Region, Quinta do Crasto has been owned by the family of Leonor and Jorge Roquette for over a century. As is often the case with the great Douro Quintas, the origins of Quinta do Crasto date back to distant times - the name Crasto derives from the Latin "castrum", which means Roman fort.
